Kesteven host Advanced Coaches Training
(May 02, 2013)Karen led an Advanced Coaches Training Day for RDA National on Tuesday 30th April. The programme for the day covered the Scales of Training and how this relates to work within RDA and was designed for a maximum of four coaches. The day was oversubscribed and the lucky four particpants chosen travelled from Scotlland, Wales, Norfolk and Northamptonshire to attend the day. The visiting coaches had the opportunity to watch and coach some of our dressage riders as well as a demonstration of working the horse on the lunge using training devices. One participant wrote:
I would just like to say thank you very much for the training day at Kesteven yesterday. I can honestly say it was the best instructor training day I have ever been on (and I have been on a lot over the years!). I think the small group of delegates, detailed technical information and the flexible nature of the course together with Karen's brilliant teaching was the key to the success. I hope you will be able to offer more of these small in depth courses in future, I learned so much.
