"Most of the therapy I need as a disabled person is not something to look forward to, whereas sitting on a horse is peaceful and therapeutic - it's one of the nicest experiences in my life. I sit on horseback and, for the first time, I am looking and speaking to people on a different level. The feeling is wonderful!" Riding gives able-bodied and disabled members of the community an opportunity to meet and share a mutual passion.
